Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale define the rights and obligations of the company Infornav and its clients in the context of the sale of the services offered.
The services concerned include in particular: boat licenses, sailing safety courses, nautical training, navigation assistance, safety coaching, delivery and cruise support.
Any order or reservation implies the client’s full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Services
Services are provided in accordance with the information published on the Infornav website or specified when a quotation is issued.
Infornav undertakes to implement all necessary means to ensure high-quality services, in compliance with safety rules and applicable regulations.
Pricing
Service prices are expressed in euros and include all applicable taxes (VAT included).
When a quotation or invoice is issued, the amount excluding tax will be specified in order to indicate the VAT applicable on the date of the order.
Infornav reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, services ordered are invoiced on the basis of the prices in force at the time the order is validated.
Discounts and rebates
The prices offered may include discounts or rebates granted by Infornav, depending on specific conditions or on services assumed directly by the client.
Early payment discount
No discount shall be granted in the event of early payment.
Payment terms
Payment for services may be made using one of the following methods:
- Cheque
- Bank transfer
- Cash
- Online payment via PayPal or credit card
Upon order confirmation, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required. The balance must be paid no later than the day the service is provided.
Late payment
In the event of total or partial non-payment by the due date, the client shall be liable for late payment penalties calculated at three times the legal interest rate, in accordance with Law No. 2008-776 of August 4, 2008.
A fixed compensation for recovery costs in the amount of 40 euros shall also be payable, in accordance with Decree No. 2012-1115 of October 2, 2012.
Liability
Infornav shall not be held liable for indirect damages that may occur in connection with the performance of the services.
The client remains responsible for their behavior, compliance with safety instructions and adherence to applicable regulations during nautical activities.
Applicable law
These terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution shall be sought before any legal action. Failing this, the competent courts shall be those within the jurisdiction of Infornav’s registered office.
